Mr. Walsh assembles and oversees the team of advisors specific to each LongVue client. He has significant experience in handling complex financial situations for a broad spectrum of clients, from senior executives at public companies to entrepreneurs.
Prior to founding LongVue, Mr. Walsh worked for 15 years at Fleet Bank and its predecessor, BankBoston. He was a director and senior private banker responsible for managing relationships with high net worth individuals in the United States and overseas, including business owners, entrepreneurs and senior corporate executives of Fortune 100 corporations.
At Fleet, Mr. Walsh coordinated and managed a team of specialists with expertise in all aspects of wealth management, including tax and estate planning, investment management and philanthropic planning. He maintains a network of key strategic counselors, including attorneys, accountants, investment bankers and consultants.
Before joining BankBoston, Mr. Walsh spent eight years with Chase Manhattan Bank in New York and the Middle East. Previously, he negotiated sales contracts and managed sales activities in the Mideast for a large privately held U.S. trading firm.
Mr. Walsh earned his master's degree in government and foreign affairs at Georgetown University, and his bachelor's degree at Villanova University. He is a Certified Financial Planner and holds Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
