Ms. Hustvedt works with LongVue's clients and advisors to develop individualized financial strategies to achieve clients' goals.
She has been widely quoted in the financial press and is a sought-after speaker on such topics as exit strategies for business owners, diversification strategies for senior executives, estate planning and stock option planning.
Previous to launching LongVue, Ms. Hustvedt spent six years with Fleet Bank and its predecessor, BankBoston. She founded and was managing director of strategic solutions in Fleet Bank's Private Client Group, where she designed integrated, strategic solutions for the bank's high net worth clients. She worked closely with private company owners, senior executives of public firms and individuals holding large concentrated stock positions, providing counsel on money management, equity derivatives, family foundations, charitable remainder trusts, 10b5-1 plans and IRAs. Ms. Hustvedt also started Fleet's Structured Derivatives Group, consisting of credit, equity and emerging markets derivatives.
Prior to joining BankBoston, Ms. Hustvedt held various investment banking and tax structuring positions at J.P. Morgan and practiced corporate tax law at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.
Ms. Hustvedt earned her juris doctorate at the University of Chicago, and her bachelor's degree at Middlebury College.
